These Terms of Service govern your use of https://sahwaconsulting.com and any courses, digital products, case reviews, or institutional services purchased through it (together, the "Services"), operated by Sahwa Consulting (Pty) Ltd ("Sahwa Consulting," "we," "us"). By using this site or purchasing a course, you agree to these Terms.

Not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment

Sahwa Consulting provides psycho-social capacity building, resilience coaching, and educational course content. Our courses, workshops, case reviews, and any associated materials are not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or care from a licensed medical doctor, psychiatrist, psychologist, or other mental health professional.

Nothing on this site or within any course constitutes medical advice, psychological treatment, or a client-therapist relationship. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, in crisis, or in need of urgent care, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services in your area immediately.

By enrolling in any course or service, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own wellbeing and that you will seek appropriate licensed care where needed, independent of anything provided by Sahwa Consulting.

Courses and digital products

Courses are delivered through our self-paced learning platform. Access is granted upon successful payment and is personal to the purchaser; course access, workbooks, and materials may not be shared, resold, or redistributed.

Where a course includes optional asynchronous case reviews, these are subject to the submission requirements, session limits, and expiration windows stated on the relevant course or product page at the time of purchase.

Payments and refunds

All prices are listed on the relevant sales page at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider; we do not store your full card details.

All sales of digital products, courses, and case review add-ons are final. We do not offer refunds once course access has been granted or a digital product has been delivered. This applies regardless of whether the course or materials have been accessed or completed. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at info@sahwaconsulting.com and we will review the matter.

Case reviews and asynchronous feedback

Where a course or package includes personal case reviews, these are delivered asynchronously (for example, by video, audio, or written feedback) and are not live sessions. Reviews must be claimed within the expiration window stated at the time of purchase; unused reviews are forfeited after that window closes and are not eligible for extension or refund.

Institutional and corporate services

Workshops, retainers, and other services delivered to organizations are governed by these Terms together with any separate written agreement, proposal, or statement of work agreed between Sahwa Consulting and the organization. Where the two conflict, the separate written agreement takes precedence.

Confidentiality

We treat information shared through course submissions, case reviews, and institutional engagements as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except where necessary to deliver the Services, where required by law, or where there is a genuine risk of harm to yourself or others.

Intellectual property

All course content, workbooks, frameworks, audio, video, and written materials provided through the Services remain the intellectual property of Sahwa Consulting (Pty) Ltd. Purchasing a course grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the materials for your own learning. You may not copy, reproduce, teach, or redistribute course content without our prior written consent.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse this site or the Services, including by attempting to access content you have not purchased, sharing your login or course access with others, or using the site in any way that is unlawful or disruptive to other users.

Limitation of liability

The Services are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sahwa Consulting (Pty) Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, courses, or any related materials. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
